++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

that is the last project that i will be working on until 2008- at which point I will start to print my work for that show in Baltimore

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

we also just finished re-painting our kitchen! - that was fun :)
I couldn't be happier.  it's my christmas gift... thanks p.

Dryingrack

i also thought i would post a picture of the process of printing- for me-
this above is my drying rack- which is holding about 3/4's of the prints- the rest are drying on table tops
below is a picture of the tympan paper/platen of my press.  the tape is additional packing that i put on to get an even impression.  i've started putting the packing on top of the typman because after a couple of runs you can see exactly where the impressions are and can better apply the packing that way.  it works for me.  i know that eventually i will have to adjust the screws on my platen, but i'm not up for that challenge right now.

New work in the shop

Holidaycard2_4
I just posted new cards to my shop
Pretty excited about that.  Of my last cards, I made 230 and all of them sold out within two weeks.  People from all over the world bought them.  I am so grateful to Joy  for posting about my last set.  I am so grateful for this online community that exists- so cool.
Also, did some shopping for the ribbon that goes around the cards.  I love the store that I found- it will be a staple from now on.  I was forever looking for bakers twine about a month ago for my last set and couldn't find it anywhere in Philadelphia- and believe me, I looked.  Almost met my death...more on that later.
So finally I gave up and found this store on fabric row that sells all sorts of things!  discontinued things of course.  why on earth would i find something that would be easy to find?  And the ribbon works perfectly for what I'm doing and comes in ALL COLORS and is affordable.  It's perfect.  Plus, I kind of feel like baker's twine is too hot right now.  I like finding things that only I have- makes it more unique.
Ribbondetail
And some images from inside the store.  Old mail bags filled with silk thread.  Anyone need any of that?  I go there once a month and can pick some up and send it to you.  It's great for props. send me an e-mail if interested :)
