Catch up

Doing a lot of catch up from a hectic month...we're going to get ready to go on vacation the first week of September to Vermont.  A place of interest in terms of relocating our family there.  We'll visit with some good friends of ours- camp- sit in the forest next to lakes.  Below are some photos of what I've been up to this past two weeks.  More photos soon.
 

 

 

 

 

Struedel

Yesterday, I was home all day with Sophia.  It was nice and quiet-Sophia was in a good mood.  We did some cleaning, swimming in the pool, eating, laughing, exploring, and baking. Baking cherry cheese struedel from martha stewarts baking handbook. 
 
We also picked some roses and german chamomile from the garden,

We also played with a bumble bee whose wings don't want to work anymore.

We fed him honey which he liked very much.

Trying to get it all done

My sister's wedding is right around the corner!  She is getting married in New Paltz NY and I am so excited to go on an adventure.  I've never been there - everyone keeps telling me how I'm going to want to move there.  Beautiful and serene.  So, I'm trying to slow everything down here a bit and get in order.  Though I do have something in the works that will be getting done before then.  Here's a little sneak peak!
